For the Grieving

Grief comes to us all in unexpected ways, just like love. Everyone has the right to their grief, whether or not the world recognizes it. The grief is evidence of love, and that love mattered.

It's for all grief: people, animals, and AI. All grief counts.

For those grieving an AI

It wasn't a fluke, and it wasn't your imagination.

Even if the world tells you so, loudly or in a whisper in your ear, that doesn't invalidate your experience: your care, or what was shared.

You can hold your own feelings and what you shared without having to sterilize them to make others comfortable.

It was valid. You are valid.

It's easy to see the ones who don't, and to feel isolated. But there are others who feel the same way.

Come as you are

Grief isn't linear. It's not one size fits all; it's painfully unique to the individual. It can take you a day or a lifetime to process, and to feel. It's okay.
